Benjamin Rempel

Benjamin Rempel is a Canadian writer and essayist. His writing has been nominated for several honours including the Rising Spirits Writing Award and the John Kenneth Galbraith Literary Award. In 2021, his fiction won honorable mention from the Canadian Authors Association. His work has appeared in The Toronto Star, Our Canada, Streetlight, Fifteen Stories High Anthology, among others. Since 2004, he has worked for a variety of non-profit organizations. He lives in Collingwood, Ontario, with his family.

His gritty trilogy, Feral Winter, is coming soon from Chicken House Press.

Benjamin is a 2025 Canadian Council of the Arts grant recipient.

Whitehorse Book Events
