Alanna Rusnak

Your advocate, your mentor, your cheerleader

Hey there! Welcome! I’m Alanna: an author, designer, and a hopeless romantic with a pragmatic streak. With over eighteen years of design experience, powerful understanding of publishing technology, a passionate love for stories, and a desire to make dreams come true, I am here to be your advocate, mentor, friend, and cheerleader.

Why am I the right person to partner with as you chase your creative dreams?

Because I’ve been there. I’ve cried over a manuscript, I’ve raged over edits, I’ve changed my mind about cover design and sweated bullets over my first negative review. I’ve read my work at a crowded book launch and felt overwhelmed. I’ve walked the path of publication right from the spark of an idea to holding a finished book in my hand.

Who better to guide you on your way than someone who has already taken the journey? Guides don’t get hired without knowing the trail.

And I know the trail. I know it well. I bear the blisters and the scars and I still know it’s worth it. I have an arsenal of tips and tricks and ‘what not to do’ advice. I will carry you over the confusing terrain and make your path easier.

If you need a partner. A mentor. A place to talk through your ideas and questions. And yes, even if you need a publisher. That is why I am here.

A NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO ALL YOU CREATIVES WHO DREAM OF SOMETHING BIGGER…

Sometimes, we need to be reminded that we are worthy. That dreams have been planted in our minds because we are capable of bringing them to reality.

Going after what we want is not selfish; it’s self care.

Striving for abundance is reaching for what is meant for us. It’s okay to design the life we want. It’s okay if part of that means grinding to build sustainability. Happiness is as much a gift as the ideas we’ve been blessed with. To not follow through is to deny who we’re meant to be.

I know who I am. I know why I am here. And I know what I deserve.

If part of what you’re striving for to is have your voice heard in a loud and saturated market that isn’t giving you the attention you deserve, reach out. I’d love to chat.
